Our take on this classic Italian-American sauce is made with whole vine-ripened California tomatoes, olive oil, organic garlic, and organic basil.

We like this comforting sauce tossed with spaghetti (although our kids prefer rotini) alongside our Garlic Bread and a simple green salad. It’s also delicious as a dipping sauce, spooned over chicken parmesan, or layered in lasagna.

Serving size
One order will sauce about 1/2 pound of pasta (2-3 servings). To sauce a full pound of pasta, we recommend ordering two orders. If you like your pasta extra saucy, round up.

To heat

• Microwave: remove from packaging and place in microwave-safe dish. Cover and heat on medium-high heat until warmed through, about 3-4 minutes, stirring at least once halfway through heating. Stir well before serving.

• Stove (preferred): remove from packaging and place in a saucepan or pot. Gently heat over medium heat, stirring often, until warmed through.

• Pro tip: For best results, heat in a saucepan large enough to also hold your pasta. After the sauce is warmed through, add al dente pasta to the saucepan with the sauce and toss to coat. The sauce will thicken and better adhere to the starchy pasta.
