Brown Butter, Carrot, and Cauliflower Puree
This savory dish is the perfect, colorful side dish for herb-roasted chicken, pork chops, or steaks. It’s fantastic with salmon, scallops, or a hearty white fish. If vegetarian cooking is more your style, serve it with grilled or roasted mushrooms, fried eggplant or zucchini, or crispy chickpeas.
Garnish with minced chives, toasted nuts, or blue cheese.
Serving size
Small size is one generous cup and serves 1-2 as a side.
Large size is two generous cups and serves 2-4 as a side.
To heat
Microwave: Remove frozen contents from packaging and place in microwave-safe dish. Cover and heat on medium-high heat until warmed through, stirring at least once halfway through heating (about 4-6 minutes total). Stir well before serving.
Stove: place frozen contents in a saucepan and heat over medium heat until warmed through. Add a tablespoon or two of water, if needed.
