Just the Meatballs: Japanese-Style Chicken Meatballs
Our gingery chicken meatballs are a customer favorite. Originally packaged with organic rice for a complete meal, we’ve also added a version with just the meatballs and their sweet & salty glaze.
Make your own rice to eat with them, or go non-traditional and serve them with soba noodles or lettuce cups and some great garnishes, like cucumber slices, sesame seeds, or green onions.
Serving size
One order contains 12 small meatballs with sauce.
To heat
We recommend placing the frozen contents in a microwave-safe bowl to thaw overnight in the refrigerator. Once thawed, you can gently reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop.
But if you can’t do that (let’s be honest, we rarely plan that far ahead):
Microwave: Place the frozen contents in a microwave-safe dish and cover. Use the defrost setting for 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until warmed through.
Stovetop: Place the frozen contents in a pot or pan. Cover and heat over medium-high heat, until meatballs are warmed through.
