In a stroke of genius, we took one of our most popular items (Butternut Squash Mac ‘n’ Cheese), and added slighty spicy, Mexican-style beef chorizo crumbles. The result is a delicious combination of sweet, savory, and creamy.

We make this bubbly, gooey mac ‘n’ cheese with an extra-creamy cheese blend. We add roasted butternut squash puree for a little toasty sweetness and to sneak in extra nutrients. (The squash discreetly blends in with the cheese…we promise not to tell your kids.)

Microwave a single serving in the morning and pop in a thermos for your kid’s lunch, or throw the large serving in the microwave to serve for dinner with roasted veggies or a green salad.

Also available in a vegetarian option. Add an order of our frozen breadcrumbs to turn this into an adult-friendly gourmet treat.

To heat

• Microwave: remove contents from packaging and place in a microwave-safe dish. Add 1 tablespoon of milk or water. Cover and heat on medium-high heat until warmed through (4-6 minutes), stirring at least once halfway through heating. Add more milk or water if needed. Top with breadcrumbs, if using.

• Stove: remove from packaging and place in a saucepan or pot with 1 tablespoon of milk or water per serving, and gently heat over medium heat, stirring often, until warmed through.
