Garlic Confit Couscous
We simmer organic garlic in organic extra virgin olive oil until it turns soft and nutty. Then we blend the whole thing into a creamy paste to add depth to our couscous.
Delicious with our pomegranate-glazed lamb shank or lamb tagine.
FYI: not a vegetarian dish; couscous is cooked in stock.
Serving size
Small is 1-2 side dish servings.
To heat
Microwave: remove contents from packaging and place in a microwave-safe dish. Add 1 tablespoon of water. Cover and heat on medium-high heat until warmed through (4-6 minutes), stirring at least once halfway through heating.
Stove: We recommend that you thaw before heating if using the stovetop. Remove from packaging and thaw for a few hours in a dish on the counter or overnight in the refrigerator. Place thawed couscous in a small pot with 1 tablespoon of water, and gently heat over medium heat, stirring often, until warmed through.
