Ham, Hatch Chile and Black Bean Soup
Ham, Hatch Chile and Black Bean Soup
Smoky and spicy with a hint of citrus, these brothy beans make a hearty meal. We slowly cook Rancho Gordo Midnight Black Beans with ham hocks, oranges, and other seasonings, then finish with fire-roasted Hatch chiles and shredded ham.
Serve with cornbread, biscuits, or crusty bread. And don’t hesitate to get carried away with garnishes: try avocado, finely chopped onion or minced chives, cilantro, sour cream, or cheese.
